Welcome!

I joined the CIS department of North York, Toronto DeVry in March of 1992 as a full-time faculty member. I was the Assistant Program Chair of Computer Information Systems and Business Operations programs at the North York, Toronto campus for about two years. While performing these academic duties, I still held my teaching position. I also taught in the Continuing Education program at that campus, for two years.

At DeVry Chicago, I teach in the CIS program.

The courses that I have taught include: Computer Applications, COBOL programming (Basic & Advanced), Programming Concepts I using C/C++, JCL, VSAM, Systems Analysis and Design I and II, Applications Maintenance I and II, Database Management Systems and Advanced Databases, On-Line Systems (with CICS), On-Line Systems (with Visual Basic), Controls and Security, Current Concepts (with Visual Basic), and Senior Project.

At DeVry University, I have authored four Curriculum Guides for CIS and IT programs and have developed the IT-360 (DBMS ) online course. I deliver my courses in the classroom as well as online.

I uphold Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC). In the past, I have worked with General Education Department faculty to reinforce WAC, by including technical reports in courses that I have taught.

In summer 1997, I transferred to the DeVry Chicago campus.

In my spare time, I love to read, cook, travel, and spend time with my family.

Course materials are available in eCollegeeCollege can be accessed only by students who are officially registered for my courses.

Each registered student must have an eCollege user login.  If you do not have one, you need to go the Help Desk to have one created for you.  The Help Desk is located at the back office of the PC Lab on the first floor of the TEC Building.
